Why do pro-life groups even care what Alberto Gonzales' views on abortion are? He's up for Attorney General, which, I think, would give him small sway over the realm of decisions that could affect whether abortions happen or not. Tom Ridge, as it turns out, is also pro-choice, but when you're Director of Homeland Security that issue just doesn't come up all that much.
