Turning Off Gays

Salon has finished his four-part investigative series on reparative therapy for gay people. The last part, with links to the others, is
here. (In the second part, he pretends to be gay and actually goes through therapy.) What's interesting is that Benjamin was unable to track down a single man or woman who had gone through the process and been "cured." He asked the president of the National Association for Research and Treatment of Homosexuality to point him in the right direction, but no dice: "He responds that his patients will not talk to me because they don't get a fair shake in the press."
